Lleyton Hewitt

Lleyton Hewitt stunned the world when he became the youngest player to occupy the ATP World Number One position. The Australian tennis star won two Grand Slams in his career and joined 33 of his compatriots in the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Today we will discuss Lleyton Hewitt’s net worth in 2022, career, and personal life.

Lleyton Hewitt’s Net Worth

Lleyton Hewitt’s net worth in 2023 is approximately $25 million.

Lleyton Hewitt has earned millions from his endorsement deals with Nike and Athletic DNA. He was the subject of a bidding war between the two companies as Hewitt was hesitant to renew his relationship with Nike. As the tug-of-war between the two sportswear giants continued, Hewitt was seen playing in unbranded gear. Finally, Athletic DNA won the battle for Hewitt’s signature.

Lleyton Hewitt also owns his own clothing line, “C’mon.” Hewitt was in a legal dispute with former Swedish tennis star Niclas Kroon over the trademark rights of the name. Kroon claimed he had copyrighted the name as his celebratory gesture, but it later turned out that the trademark due date had expired. So, Lleyton Hewitt is now the lawful owner of the “C’mon” brand.

Lleyton Hewitt and his wife, Bec Cartwright, also own an online auctioning agency named “eSwap.” However, there is no news of the company’s recent operations. In 2010, the Herald Sun reported that the business lost more than $440,000.

As far as celebrity marriages go, Bec and Lleyton Hewitt are the epitome of a stable and healthy marital relationship in Australia. Think of them as the Australian counterparts of Victoria and David Beckham.

Before they met, Bec was a rising actress and a talented singer pursuing a musical career on the sideways. On the other hand, Lleyton Hewitt had the world at his feet as tennis’s latest young sensation. Often, he would make news for the wrong reasons.

As fate would have it, their paths aligned for the first time in a 1999 charity match. However, both were in separate relationships back then. Bec saw fellow thespian Beau Brady, and Lleyton saw fellow tennis star, Kim Clijsters.

After both of their relationships had broken up, they started to chat with each other. Texting led to their first date, and afterward, they got engaged. All this happened in six weeks! It had “impulsive” written all over it, but their relationship stood the test of time.

Lleyton and Bec would get married at the iconic Sydney Opera House in July 2005. Bec was already pregnant with their eldest daughter Mia Rebecca Hewitt at the time. The couple welcomed their second child, Cruz, in 2008 and their youngest child, Ava, in 2010.
