Extinction Rebellion - Super Strange Climate Protest!

Probably the strangest protest known to man is currently taking place in the capital of England right now. For many days, London has been engulfed with climate activists, better known as the “Extinction Rebellion”.

It goes without question, everyone is entitled to protest on their beliefs. And sure, this is a peaceful protest by all means, well for most (apart from several hundred protesters that have been arrested). But you really do need to ask yourself, is it all worth it?

With the UK rapidly heading towards Brexit, will the ministers in power even acknowledge the current protests?

Reports last week explained that in one day alone, there were multiple stabbings and one OAP pronounced dead. With no police available to assist around London. Of course the police are maxed out ‘keeping the peace’ at the protest.

The economy has taken a hit of approximately 3,000,000 sterling a day. Local businesses making serious complaints against the drop off in trade. Thus affecting mainly normal people and their livelihoods. Surely it would make sense to concentrate more on the government?

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan invited the leader from the Rebellion on the morning show. Although it didn’t last very long and ended up with Morgan calling the rebellion leader a “rank hypocrite”. Also reports of her 11,000 mile round trip to Costa Rica on vacation?

Many protesters have also been under scrutiny. Many seen eating at Mcdonald’s and other fast food establishments. Which is usally high on the eco warriors agenda!

Today The Bank Of England was the key area by the rebellion. Blocking entrances and genuinely causing as much confusion as possible for staff.

In the next few days, things should start to slow down. Let’s see what as been achieved by the protests., if anything.
